I had always loved the ideology of Thomas Keller and its kitchen team. Per se was a bucket lost restaurant for me. And the experience was amazing. We reserved for 1 pm and ended up leaving at 5 pm. We had a 14 course dinner with outstanding quality for all the products. The bathrooms were impeccable. The service was of the highest level and helped my mother understand the menu. She is not into the culinary world and terminology as I am. My only but was one small part of the dessert. The mint and chocolate macaroons where too hard to bite. Maybe it was too cold or something. But is my only complain. We had a kitchen tour and meet the crew that made our food. Amazing experience. Super expensive for normal mortals but if you have the money and time dont miss the experience.

Per Se lives in a world of its own. I find it quite unique. Restaurant nicely situated, great views of Columbus. Food amazing, wine list scary, all the usual adjectives apply. What's different is the atmosphere, its actually a fun place to be. Staff likeable and interested. Here's a pasta dish. You can't see pasta 'cos it's hidden behind the biggest mound of truffle I've ever seen. Then they came back and added more! A nice touch. Loved the place, it is serious food, top class dining but also a great place to party. Thanks

Questions & Answers

The menu changes daily. There are two options in the dinning room, one is vegetarian. Both are currently $355. There is a less extensive menu in their Salon. It costs $225. All menus have supplements with extra costs. If you have wine with your meal expect $500 per person+.

Definitely not, if your friend does not have an invitation then he will not be able to sit with you during your dinner. Perse has strict rules on dining. My suggestion is that you call their service line and perhaps they can better assist you.

Look up the website

Not sure, but you might find out on their website.

It's located in the Columbus circle shopping mall on the very top floor. Take the escalator or an elevator.

Go to this link and click on the different menus to see what is offered and at what price https://www.thomaskeller.com/new-york-new-york/per-se/todays-menus

A full dinner is $355/person, assuming you only drink tap water.
